Tree Adoption Uganda is an NGO whose aim is to fight climate change through educational projects.
They organise weekend trips ($50 for accommodation, food, and transport) to Katiiti in Mpigi district where volunteers are sensitised on environmental issues by setting up tree nurseries and harvesting maize and matoke.
They have also initiated a learning center for rural children where student volunteers can teach reading, writing or maths.
