Some of you are confident that you are fully meeting the requirements.
Once you submit your portfolio, I will review it and schedule a final interview with you. To make sure that you qualify for the interview , I have prepared the following checklist.
Your CAS portfolio should:
- demonstrate that you have been involved in a balance of CAS activities for 18 months
- include documentation to justify your active involvement in a long term collaborative project integrating at least 2 of the 3 areas and demonstrating initiative and leadership
- include a log of all your activities, indicating for each one the area covered and the learning outcomes met
- provide evidence of planning and feedback for each activity
- provide a minimum of 1 reflection per activity
- provide a minimum of 2-3 reflections for each of the 8 learning outcomes
- be organised (use dividers, headers or sub folders (depending on the format)
- contain a final reflection on your entire CAS programme, detailing the challenges and benefits of your personal experience
BUT REMEMBER...CAS NEVER ENDS
